The 3d Scientific and Practical Conference The Ural Peaks. Respiratory Infections 2025 was held in Ekaterinburg on October 15–16 as part of the 4th International Forum Days of Virology 2025. The event organized by the Ministry of Health of the Sverdlovsk Region, the Smorodintsev Research Institute of Influenza, and the Ural State Medical University brought together over 1,100 participants in person and online from 36 cities across Russia.

On October 10, 2025, a representative delegation visited the Medsintez Plant. Among the visitors, there were members of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, representatives of the Government and Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region, the head of the Novouralsk Urban District, and leading regional experts in the field of medical science. The main purpose of the visit was to assess the enterprise's success in import-substituting drug production, become familiar with its brand-new products, and discuss development options of the pharmaceutical industry in the region.

Vector-Medical Systems LLC
Since 1993, the medical and technical enterprise Vector-MS LLC has been specializing in the development and production of equipment for cardiology, cardiac surgery, functional diagnostics, physiotherapy, traumatology and rehabilitation.
Since 1993, the company has developed and put into mass production more than 10 medical devices.
The company includes a design office, pilot production, medical and technical department, marketing and sales department, as well as supporting services.
The company operates in five areas:
The first area is scientific research (R&D).
Based on the results of R&D, the company has obtained five patents.
The second area is the production of medical devices.
We produce:
1) External pacemakers:
- Transesophageal endocardial pacemaker CHEECS-3 «Vector-MS»
- For temporary external cardiac pacing in transesophageal, endocardial and transcutaneous modes.
- For the diagnostics and treatment of rhythm and conduction disorders of the heart.
- Programmable transesophageal and endocardial pacemaker CHEECSp-3 “Vector-MS”
Designed for electrophysiological studies of human cardiac activity, diagnostics and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias and conduction disorders in transesophageal and endocardial modes.
- Transesophageal endocardial and transcutaneous pacemaker CHEECS-5 “Vector-MS”
- diagnostics and treatment cardiac arrhythmias;
- conducting temporary pacemaking in order to stop arrhythmias in any conditions (including field ones) and maintain cardiac function in critical situations (ambulance) with simultaneous ECG monitoring in two leads;
- electrophysiological studies of the heart;
- intraoperative determination of the stimulation threshold and load impedance of the pacemaker of LLC «Vector-Medical Systems».
- Temporary wearable single-dual-chamber pacemaker ECS-VN-12 “Vector-MS”
For temporary endocardial stimulation of one or two cardiac chambers in patients with rhythm disturbances.
- Temporary portable transcutaneous transesophageal endocardial pacemaker ECS-VP-3 “Vector-MS”
For temporary transcutaneous, transesophageal and endocardial electrical stimulation of the heart when providing emergency care to patients with severe bradycardia, who are in serious condition due to extensive myocardial damage with severe disorders of central hemodynamics.
2) ELECTROSTIMULATOR ANALGETIC ESP-01- (according to A.A. Gerasimov) “Vector-MS”
Intratissual and transcutaneous electrical stimulation (ITES) according to the method of Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor A.A. Gerasimov is a modern drug- free method for the treatment of diseases of the spine, joints, headaches and other pain syndromes.
3) Programmable transesophageal and endocardial pacemaker CHEECSp-3 “Vector-MS”
The production and maintenance of medical equipment is licensed (license of the Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Health Care No. ФС-99-03-003878 dated 20/5/2013). All manufactured medical equipment has registration certificates of the Russian Federation.
The company sells its products both on the territory of the Russian Federation and in the CIS countries
The third area is maintenance of medical equipment.
In the scope of a maintenance license.
The fourth area is the supply of medical devices and consumables to healthcare institutions in Ekaterinburg and the Urals Federal District.
We are representatives of Inkart CJSC (St. Petersburg), Vilord LLC (Moscow), Neurosoft LLC (Ivanovo), Medicraft LLC and others.
The fifth area is the development of a home rehabilitation program.
